Who broke my room's lock????

A fine morning at MH... The most comfortable time on bed when the alarm in the mobile was reset to 8:05 from 8:00 to keep all those ear-piercing sounds away at least for 5 more mins.... The time when the inherent laziness keeps on telling that it makes no difference whether u get up at 8 or 8:05...

Suddenly could hear weird sort of sounds arising from somewhere outside...the most disturbing even worse than when Vanchinad crosses a bridge! what??? No water in MH??? did somebody say like that?? omg!!!! Suddenly sprang up from the bed and rushed to the bathroom to save the last drop of water from the tap to the bucket.. Fortunately, as our room was near the water tank could get enough water..
But why there was no water in the other rooms ?? Its not a summer season at all.. god knows! humph!

First hour... IOM - Industrial Organisation and Management... what an interesting subject! Till last week i didnt know at all why only I was sleeping in the class.. I tried many times to keep me awake ... For just staying awake i tried sleeping more than 12 hrs the previous night.. Still when i failed to control my sleep, i thought i may be having some serious sickness.. :-( I even thought of drawing "a pair of open eyes" on my spectacles.. Specs might turn a boon sometimes..

One day in IOM class i decided to watch what other ppl were doing... Just looked at the side of girls... Could hear some slight whispering with delight of BINGO calls... Just turned to the other side... wow! cud see the reflection of cool graphics on the spectacles of many... Mobile games... The choke inside this dumbass started to work... Now I understood why only I was sleeping in the class... The saying "The more u learn, the more u forget .. then why study??" came to my mind with slight modification... "The more u concentrate, the more u'll sleep... then why conc??"
From that day onwards Ive never slept in IOM class..... :-)

After all these boring hours and after dinner returned back to room for browsing. Understood that there is some problem with the asianet cable. So went out and checked the cable and understood that the cable was damaged. While changing the cable, with the slight fear whether something bad will happen, i started to get a tickling feeling on my feet .. Is it a electricity shock?? I just looked down n saw water beneath my legs.. i looked around to see who's pouring water on my leg this late night inside the hostel of marble flooring... Omg!! its coming from Kanna-P's room.... Ran to take a hammer and we all broke the lock... We went to the bathroom n understood that they forgot to close the tap in the morning and now its overflowing since the outlet of the bathroom was blocked with dirt.... and it filled the room and now coming outside beneath the door .... Now i knew why there was no water in the morning .... Next day morning i could hear somebody asking "who broke my room's lock?"

Moral of the story: Never Clean your bathroom.

The Third year - A job, a dream...

Campus Recruitment Time... First One Cognizant technology Solutions! to step into our campus. Cleared the aptitude test and went for the interview! Interviewer finished off the interview in 5 mins! And that was the my first job ! But I was disappointed that nothing interesting happened during the interview , different from what I had heard from my seniors...

Then I got a chance to attend the Infosys Interview which was held at Model Engineering College. The interview lasted for around 15 mins .. And unlike my previous experience. it was really a very interesting and joyful experience and it was fun attending the interview! And That was my second company! Im happy not becoz i got thro the interview but Ive got some of my best buddies with me which CEC had treasured.

Meanwhile we were working on our Mini project. The topic was PC Remote Control using Symbian Mobile Phone. My first attempt to make a professional software and we succeeded in making it!And the confidence and satisfaction that the project gave was tremendous!

It would be injustice if i dont mention about my room mate at this point of time! Renjish! The one who is suffering all my chalus[PJs] !Ppl run for life after hearing just one of my Chalu! So just imagine a person's state of mind who has not missed any of my chalus; His mind must be in some comma stage by now i guess! 3 long years he has been suffering all my nonsense day and night! And i understood his pathetic situation when, even teachers started asking who was my room mate!!!!! lol!

The second year... - The transition

The 2nd year I started to love College life more... The subjects were more Computer related except ET. I hate ET and it is a nightmare still... Dont know how i managed to pass.. Phew!

It was in the second year I joined the Training and Placement Cell of CEC. Libin, APC, Sajo, Edwin, Geethu, Soumya and Simi.. The perfect team with 8 of us... The place where I learned engineering is more than what it is in the books. We all really had a jolly good time in that small TPC room. The most precious moments which we had with Sathyan..... Missing him a lott!

By the time the S1 results was out! I still couldn't believe .. I crossed 80% ! The time when i felt am not a total waste!

At the end of S3, i understood that there is no need of a teacher for engineering and understood the true meaning what a lecturer is!!!! But in S4 unexpectedly a teacher came for DSA!First time in my life, I enjoyed learning a subject.... The one single teacher of CEC whom i adore the most! Rejani Miss!

It was at that time a dream started to arise in my mind! To Become a teacher! ... Still I dont know whether I can ! But I know i want to be a teacher...

First Year - Sleepless Nights!

Chinju Hostel !!!! The 4 walls of my room ill never ever forget .. The engineering days was a transition in my life.. a drastic transition..

I slowly started to get a feel that what I thought about engineering was not fully right... Life at Chinju was a perfect blend of excitement, happiness :-) , sorrow :-( and what not....

I was totally disappointed with the subjects in the first year. When Anoop Krishnan (Pazham Bonda) and all were pouncing on Mechanics I was feeling really sad that I came to the wrong place and I am totally unfit for this. Mechanics, Mechanical, Electrical, Maths all started destroying my confidence..... Slowly I also started running with an average pace with everyone.

Then came the subjects Electronics and Computers in the first year. I was overcoming all my disappointment in the mechanics class in those classes. When many of the students in my class was reading greek, I had nothing to learn coz past 2 years I was learning same thing at Model Technical School. It was at that time I was given the covering of "Buji" in the class. But I only knew the truth :-)

One day I entered the staff room and I was shocked !!! Oh my god! Why is she sitting here in the staff room... Sindhu miss (My maths teacher at Model Technical School). She told she got transfer to CEC. And she started teaching me here also....

The best days of engineering slowly showed its appearance.... Reallllllllllllly missing those golden days with Big Shine chettan, Termi Chettan - The one with the highest hostel spirit, Thodupuzha Martin Chettan, "Konchu" Ranjithettan, Mechanics Noby chettan, Glamour Maheshettan, and the Huge Big creamy "Black forest" Sajan chettan, The most helping Bijorn chettan, ... Those days i felt i was in heaven.... Will always cherish the moments with them.... Didn't knew the actual value of friendship with them until they left CEC - when my eyes was wet the day they left the hostel....

There was no subject which i had to burn my head when these ppl were around.... Angane.... The first year examination was over.... By the time my sister too passed out from college...

Pre-engineering days!

The reason itself i decided to start blogging was to share my experience at College of Engineering, Chengannur from first year to final year...

The nasty plan of taking Computer Science Engineering after my higher secondary education was implanted in my even nastier head by my dearest sister when i was in my 10th! Those were one of my most busy days with head, mind n soul busy with SSLC. I was annoyed seeing my sister sitting idle most of the time when i was studying studying... So I got the impression that Engineering is the best way to enjoy life with nothing to study at all and then on my aim was to get into any engineering college some how...

The SSLC result was out! i was happy. Happy not because i got nice mark in SSLC. but i got 3 marks more than what my sister got. :-) I got admission to one of the prestigious institution - Model Technical Higher Secondary School, Kaloor . It was like a dream come true for me to get into MTHSS that time. I was really happy with the teaching, the friends which I got... 2 years passed ... passed faster than i could imagine..

My engineering entrance result came! The result was not much encouraging... But my parents prayers and I was lucky enough to get an admission to the same college which my sister was studying... yes! College of Engineering, Chengannur....
